Our Story
When our son was identified as autistic, I left my corporate career to be there for every appointment, every therapy session, every fight for his care. We leaned on my wife's income, I freelanced, did odd jobs, and we got by on sheer luck. A lot of families aren't that fortunate, and I wanted to help.
After working for a local nonprofit built around community cycling events, I saw what was possible.
Run the Spectrum was born from that moment.

Our Mission
No family should have to ration their child's care because the copays are crushing them.
Run the Spectrum exists to close that gap. We organize running, walking, and cycling events that raise real money for real families, and 50% of net proceeds from every piece of clothing we sell goes directly to autism charities, reviewed and refreshed quarterly so our impact stays sharp and accountable.
We're not just a race. We're a movement with receipts.
Our flagship vision is a sensory run/walk unlike anything that exists! A course designed for all of us, where ASD kiddos can explore sensory stations. Every dollar raised feeds directly into our Family Grant Program, reimbursing copays for ASD services so families can breathe a little easier.
That event is coming. But we're not waiting.
Our 1st event, a 26-mile virtual walk, run, or ride with a goal of raising $26,000 for the autism community. You set the pace. You choose the route. You run your miles on your terms. All we ask is that you run them with us.
A Brave New Horizon.
